As a first time home buyer I was completely clueless about the process. My first conversation with Pat was basically just drilling him with questions of what steps I needed to take in order to start the process. After getting pre approved I was ready to go. Pat had already done some due diligence for me before we even started going out and looking at homes. Pat would ask questions for to the home owners or builders because he knew that I did not know the right questions to ask. As a former engineer Pat sometimes asked the builders questions that caught them of guard but were very important such as structural concerns and what materials the home was made of. We met Pat Przada as the listing agent on a home which interested us.  Pat's personality is what initially provoked us to work with him.  He was not pushy as most others we have worked with in the past.  At our first appointment to tour homes, we met his partner and wife Nancie who displayed the same qualities.  This was a great match for us.  Personality alone is not their selling quality as we learned during the next few months.
 
Why did we think Pat and Nancie were exceptional in the field?  First, we believe their career backgrounds are notable:  Pat, a former President w/ an engineering background and Nancie, a distinguished educator.  This was especially helpful for negotiations and helping to select neighborhoods.  What is also important to note in our case was that at the time we met, Lynne was 5 months pregnant with our home in Dallas on the market.  The Dallas home went under contract in August for a closing end of September.  Her due date was Oct. 23rd, so time was of the essence.  Nancie and Pat combed through hundreds of listings every week and considered existing as well as new build.  Each outing they reached out to different sectors and were feverish in locating a home which filled all of our requirements - including a yard for a German Shepherd -  which is not easy in the northern suburbs of Dallas.  And, despite our exclusivity expiring in August, they did not push to "close a sale".. . Pat and Nancie uphold the principles of integrity and honesty - they were looking out for OUR best interest.  When we found the ideal home, time was tight to coincide with the closing of our home in Dallas.  They negotiated terms with the other listing broker favoring a quick close; the completion of some high dollar repairs/replacement including new windows and roof; and were a tremendous resource throughout the process.  They researched school districts; contacted roofers; a mover who would hold our home contents on a truck w/out additional storage fees; etc.  They went above and beyond what a realtor is expected to do for a client; and they helped us with a smile.  What was also refreshing is the calm, cool, and collective way they tackle issues which arise.  When you are seven months pregnant, working a demanding job, and packing up an existing home, this was important.
 
On September 29th, the day before closing on our Dallas home, our son arrived three weeks early.  Guess who arranged wired funds transfer with the Title company at the hospital?  Pat and Nancie...they were literally there for us every step of the way! 
 
We consider them not only our "realtors for life", but also "friends for life".  It has been an extreme privilege and pleasure working with them!
